Hair of the Dog and Fresh Pasta

We were out and about last weekend looking for sunglasses but I did not find anything I liked. As always, we found some good eats instead.

Checked out the tasting room at Hair of the Dog Brewing Company. I had the “Little Dog, Light” while Marcel had the “Fred”.

After some drinks we had planned to go to the Hawthorne Food Carts but stopped short and ducked into Que Pasa Cantina. We enjoyed the evening but the food was just typical Ore-Mex.

Got some fresh pasta sheets from PastaWorks inspired by Gourmeted. I used turkey meat and went easy on dairy. I toasted some bread with garlic and olive oil. I never thought fresh pasta could make so much difference!  I highly recommend this recipe.
