January

It seems like January was a short month because the first week I only had to work for four days 🙂 I did mostly home organization projects and I even got to re-organize my area at work. It is an ongoing project but it feels good to start the new year off with a clean slate. I was inspired by the book EveryGirl’s Guide to Life. I highly recommend it.

Here are some random photos from this month:

I always forget to bring out my Nikon SB-600 Speedlight for low light situations.  This picture was taken indoors at home in the evening. The light was bounced against the ceiling. What a difference it makes!

One snowy night at home

Marcel got to try a new food cart EuroDish

Dinner at Khun Pic’s Bahn Thai

Going away party for my co-worker friend Kring-Kring

Chef Naoko bento lunch

Chinese New Year dinner at Ocean City Seafood Restaurant

Dinner at Serratto, one of my favorite places in Portland

As I was uploading these photos, I realized that we spent most of the month eating out! I guess we were still in a Holiday mood. We usually like to cook at home so in February, we will be back to “normal”.
