Mt Hood Skibowl

Last weekend, I finally made it on the slopes after about five years. Marcel has been going a few times a year.  We used to go a lot when we lived in Colorado and had season passes. It didn’t take me long to get my stride back. We opted for night skiing at Mt Hood […]

Dallas Family and Friends

I had a wonderful time visiting family and friends and looking forward to my next visit. Here are some random pictures that I took with my Canon G12. I wanted to take my Nikon D90 but thought I would save space but maybe I should have. Somehow the G12 likes to use high ISO and […]

The Shops at Legacy – Plano, TX

One of my favorite places in Dallas was the Shops at Legacy. It was nice to walk around, browse the shops, and eat some good food. I had lunch with Marcel’s Aunt Karen one day then came back the next day with my family for dinner. Most of the stores were independently-owned and had some […]

Howdy From The Big D!

I’m in Dallas, TX this week visiting my family. It’s a different world out here and I’m getting some much needed sunshine. As always, it’s a blast to get together with my family and some old friends. First things first – I got myself a pair of cowboy boots from Cavender’s Lunch with Marcel’s Dad Rejean […]

January

It seems like January was a short month because the first week I only had to work for four days 🙂 I did mostly home organization projects and I even got to re-organize my area at work. It is an ongoing project but it feels good to start the new year off with a clean […]

Doggie Palooza

Today we went to the Doggie Palooza at the World Forestry Center. We thought it would be fun for Marcel and Mulder to join the Look-Alike contest. Unfortunately they did not win. The winners were three-time champions. Why don’t they give others a chance? Now judge for yourself! Here’s the complete story. Video by Oregon […]

South Oregon Coast

This trip was taken on Labor Day weekend. We explored the coast from the Oregon/California border all the way up to Reedsport staying in Gold Beach for two nights. It was very foggy so a lot of our pictures were overexposed or hazy. These are the ones I like. Crab shack in Bandon Oregon Coast […]
