August was the best month so far so I thought I would write about the meals we’ve made out of our garden’s bounty. Not all ingredients were from our garden. Some were from our CSA share, others from the Farmers’ Market, produce stand, and grocery stores. You might also notice that these are all vegetarian meals. We eat mostly vegetarian food but eat meat occasionaly.
Spaghetti al Pomodoro – I used a basic tomato puree recipe then added onions, garlic, oregano and basil.

Marcel made this salsa with no recipe. He just put tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, and cilantro in the food processor then added salt, pepper, and ground cumin.

The base of this soup is Leek Potato Soup but Marcel got creative to “use up” our vegetables.
