Garden Update – June 2011

by Charlotte on June 18, 2011

Although the weather has been unpredictable the last few weeks, some of our plants
are looking good. We started most from seed sometime in April. Here are a few of them:

The two different kinds of mint are going crazy.

These are some giant onions.

The peppers are finally starting to grow taller.

The sugar snap peas will start producing any day now.

Some early girl tomatoes. We bought this plant at the farmers market in May already with flowers.

Strawberries are ripening up. We are picking them early before the slugs get to them.

How is your garden doing this year?

Am jealous of your garden! Corry’s slug bait works wonders!

Not even trying one this summer – too busy and weather is still too cold/rainy here in the Seattle area. It’s almost JULY, people! UGH!
